Sarah Sommerauer BSc MA
Founder & CEO
Sarah has been working in the event industry for around 7 years now. While doing her Bachelor’s in environmental sciences & Economics she was working for an Escape Room Company and as Head of Events & Exchange Operations for her local AIESEC entity. After finishing her BSc and starting research on Sustainable Events, Sarah was working with AUDI Austria in their Marketing & Events Department. In 2018 Sarah decided to complete a Master’s degree in Sport- and Eventmanagement. While studying, she started working full time for the emotion group, an international sport event agency based in Austria. She was essential in delivering the European Figure Skating Championships 2020, the Davis Cup AUT-URU 2020 and the Erste Bank Open 2020. With her Master Thesis on the Sustainability of Major Figure Skating Events, Sarah concluded her studies but not her interest in this topic.
She therefore joined the A Greener Festival Team in there Marketing Department and has completed the Green Event Junior Assessor Training. She also joined the Zero Waste Berlin Festival as their sustainability officer and is the founder of the Sustainable Events Club on Clubhouse.
She is more than excited to announce that SOSU EVENTS is finally open for booking, collaborating and changing the world.
With the international experiences gained due to studying and living in Austria, Texas, Puerto Rico & Ireland, Sarah is now incorporating everything that she has learned from the last years into a promising agency.
